Amazon SITE PLAN APPROVED

The County has approved the site plan for an Amazon warehouse and distribution center off of Highway 35 in Odell.

Planning staff did not analyze Thrive’s concerns about traffic, choosing instead to rely on acceptance of the Traffic Impact Study by ODOT and the Public Works Department. The County acknowledged that concerns from the 41 individuals who submitted testimony were valid, but explained that those could not be considered because there are no specific standards in the zoning ordinance that address those quality-of-life issues.
